A typical weekday, there's nothing much to report. I think I've come down with a slight cold. I'm told "AC" sickness is pretty common this time of year (from going between hot and cold places). I saw my first big barge towed by a tub boat on one of the rivers today, that was pretty cool. Western is trying to bilk me out of more money, but I'm fighting it via e-mail (calling the Fin-Aid office and waiting on hold for 2 hours is not an option). It all traces back to the Study Abroad office. The details aren't important, what is is that I'm not happy with my dealings with the Study Abroad Office at all. Oh well, the Japanese have a saying "Shigata Ga Nai" or "it can't be helped." For slower days like today, I created a sub-blog (linked at the side bar) on which I plan to review Japanese... things, the thought ATM is Games/Anime/Movies. I'll see as it goes (and according to what people want). Sorry, kind of rambly today. Where's a 3 day weekend when you need it? Oh, speaking of which, next week is NiDai's founding day which we ALSO get off school. The presumption that the Japanese always work it to the bone... gone. Hmmm... maybe an early bedtime. Until next time.
Ja Mata Ne.

Western is going downhill on both sides of the ocean. Bailey in a recent speech gushed about all the *nice* things Western is doing, but did not touch at all on any problems that were being fixed (like the over-full buses, the construction, professors quitting left and right, and Bailey's efforts to give herself more money and perks). The reason, of course, was that there were no problems being fixed.
We're rootin' for you, anyway. Gan-batte!
